Websites

Over the years I have contributed to some websites. I thought it would be fun to list them here.
- Recently, it finally put some content on www.musikethnologie.org. After many, many years.
- Forum 440. In the beginning, this was group to read theory with. The website seemed more like a necessary evil.
- Jazzradio, WDR. 2003 - 2004. Luckily, the page looks better now. Content is quite the same as originally envisaged. A lot of fun with calm and well-organized Bernd Hoffmann.
- www.mauricemengel.de. I guess it was in 2003 when I tried to set up my own site for the first time. Then I took a nice 3 column layout from and programmed a lot of PHP that nowadays come as drupal simple and small modules. In those days content-management-systems were still new...
- Institute for Geophysics and Meteorology, University of Cologne. I worked there as a student from 1999-2002 and that's where I learned my HTML, Perl, Bash, some Unix administration and a little bit of sql and mysql.
Under the roof where it was always pretty noisy from the huge fans in old SUN machines. In the summer incredibly hot.
Judging from their Google rank, they still have one of the most often accessed pages of the whole university with weather and climate information. Still looks very familiar.
